Bentham's Bike Challenge finish: Howard arrives back safely

BBC Hereford & Worcester's Howard Bentham at Breakfast has achieved his goal of cycling about 300 miles to raise money for the Noah's Ark Trust 'Love Lives On' appeal.

In the process, the feat has raised thousands of pounds for the charity.

The week long challenge followed a route that visited much of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

Donations can still be pledged on the Bentham's Bike Challenge Virgin Money Giving website.

Each morning of the challenge, Howard broadcasted his breakfast show from somewhere along the route, before setting off on that day's bike ride.

The daily cycling route covered between 50 - 60 miles most days, taking in as many cities, towns and villages as possible around Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
