A special garden is being built for the Spring Garden Show in Malvern, to mark BBC Hereford & Worcester's Noah's Ark Appeal.

The garden highlights the "Love Lives On" theme of the appeal, which was launched in February, 2010.

It's been designed by Worcester-based Carol Smith, of CS Garden designs.

The Spring Garden Show runs from Thursday, 6 until Sunday 9 May at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

Hello, all of you gardeners and garden lovers, that can't wait to get outside, get dirt under your finger nails, breath in fresh air, and start growing and gardening again.

Yes, it's that time of year again; the Malvern Spring Gardening Show is upon us, this year there is an extra special project at the show.

In Herefordshire and Worcestershire, we have a very dedicated team of people that comprise the Noah's Ark Trust, providing an invaluable, counselling and support service to bereaved children and young people.

The garden represents the ethos of Noah's Ark Trust

Noah's Ark Trust is exhibiting the 'Love Lives On' show garden, hosted at the Malvern Spring Garden Show and sponsored by BBC Hereford & Worcester and St. Peters Garden Centre.

The show garden is a brightly coloured, fun garden, that represents the ethos of the work of Noah's Ark Trust - supporting and encouraging in a fun, pro-active and positive way.

Carol, BBC Hereford & Worcester, and St. Peters Garden Centre are supported by a team of gardening enthusiasts, the team at Noah's Ark, and local contractors, who have come together to give their time, energy and resources to bring the garden into being.

We hope that you visit us, on the garden, where leaflets on the garden and the trusts work are available seeds can be bought, in order to raise funds for the Trust.

The blog will be updated so that you can follow the progress of the garden.

See you at the show,

Carol.
