Jill speaks German, and a bit of French and Russian
Jill's always had the gift of the gab and can't quite believe she gets paid to talk for a living.
She grew up in Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, but after considering a career on the stage, decided on a degree in Modern Languages.
She can now speak a little French, a bit of Russian and a lot of German.
You can join Jill every Saturday lunchtime from 12-2pm for Daytripper.
Being a big kid at heart, Jill enjoyed a spell working in children's television, with colourful characters like Rosie & Jim and the Teletubbies.

She then got a lucky break with the British Forces Broadcasting Service and spent three years entertaining the troops on radio stations in Germany, Cyprus, Kosovo and the Falklands.
Jill returned home to join the BBC and spent four years in Swindon, before moving to Hereford.
Each week she'll be discovering hidden gems in the two counties and recommending local places for you to visit.
From stately homes to cottage gardens, city museums to village shops, there are plenty of days out on your doorstep, so if you have an idea or invitation, get in touch.
