Mike brings 25 years of broadcasting experience to his music shows

Mike George brings 25 years of broadcasting experience to his specialist music shows on BBC Hereford & Worcester.

Before this, Mike spent 10 years in the Royal Navy and eight years as a medical representative.

He's done all types of programmes, but mostly he's an early morning man, and for 15 of the 25 years, has presented breakfast shows.

He also co-presents a gardening show on Sunday lunchtime.

Mike's married to Lin, they have four children and three grandchildren, plus three cats - Willow, Merlin and Morgan.

He loves his garden (but not gardening), poetry (but only if it rhymes) and Australian wines.

Mike George can be heard in the evening and at Sunday lunchtime.
