Nathan Turvey - afternoons 3-6pm
Nathan Turvey
Nathan came to one of the first BBC H&W open days, while still at school

Nathan can be heard on BBC Hereford & Worcester each weekday afternoon from 1500.

The show takes a second bite of the day's news.

Nathan joined BBC Hereford & Worcester in 1998 while he was still at University.

As well as working at BBC H&W, his dulcet tones have been heard on BBC Radio Northampton, BBC Radio Derby and he still sometimes stands in for shows on BBC Radio Leeds.

His starsign is Scorpio - the sexiest sign of the zodiac apparently
He was born on a Friday by Caesarean section at St Mary's Hospital in Kettering
The first record he owned was DISCO by Ottawan - that song still send shivers down his spine
His favourite childhood film was ET
He is the oldest of five boys - there was nothing else to do in the 1970s

Born in Northamptonshire, Nathan moved to Worcestershire as a teenager.

Before joining the BBC, Nathan spent several years in the real world, working for the Department of Social Security.

Since joining BBC Hereford & Worcester, he's worked his way up the food chain, fronting our Early Breakfast Show for two years and working as a radio car reporter and newsreader.
