A Hobby bird

An exhibition of extremely rare birds is on display at the Worcester City Museum, until the end of February 2010.

The museum's bird collection includes examples from every continent on earth.

The first donations of bird specimens were acquired by the museum in June 1833.

The K factor

The final of a talent contest take place at the Kingsley Theatre, in Redditch.

The K Factor features five finalists, who've already been given advice and extra skills at a boot camp.

You can judge for yourself on Saturday 7 November at 1930 GMT - tickets are £5.

Don't mess

A show for older children, featuring storytelling, South Asian dance, live music, digitally generated projections, masks and puppets.

It blends an ancient Indian tale with a range of European stories.

The performance is on Saturday 7 November at 1445 GMT - tickets are £8.

Arts for Acorns

There is an arts fayre, raising money for the Acorns Children's Hospice, at Malvern St James school, on Saturday 7 November, from 1000 - 1600 GMT.

Amongst those selling arts and crafts at the fayre will be five Young Enterprise companies, set up at the school itself.
