The organiser admits their biggest enemies will be darkness and the weather

Organiser Tim Lazenby, a member of the Bewdley Rowing Club, said: "On average, each crew from the total of 48 rowers will have to cover 15 miles.

"Our biggest enemy won't be the distance; it'll be the darkness and the weather."
