A church at Brockhampton, near Ross-on-Wye, has been copied and built inside a Japanese building.

To be married in a western-style church is all the rage in Japan.

Now, Japanese couples can be married in the church-type building in the city of Osaka, without having to travel abroad.

The 'repro' church will have photographic studios and restaurants, and on the floors above the church will be a hotel, complete with honeymoon suites.

Slight modification

The Herefordshire church was chosen following a chance visit by four members of a Japanese property group.

Many couples travel from Japan to Europe to be married in a church building.

All Saints' church at Brockhampton is being slightly modified for reproduction by the hotel group, and it's being built on the 21st and 22nd floor of a tower block.

The floors below have a shopping mall and offices.
