A competition to customise cars and bikes is being run at Worcester College of Technology.

The "Pimp My Ride" contest aims to showcase the skills of engineering students and tutors at the college.

Five teams will modify a car or motorbike to their own design, using their own skills and experience.

The winning team will receive a £500 voucher for tools and equipment.

The contest has been organised as part of Colleges Week, and the students will have a chance to explain and demonstrate the skills they used, to visiting pupils from schools in the surrounding area.
