BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.

Once a month, we've been recording acts chosen by us at a variety of venues across the area - including at some of our biggest festivals.

Our next recording session takes place on Friday 5 April in the music department at John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye and features the four acts we plan to broadcast throughout April.

Acts confirmed include NowWhat! (Hereford), Sharks v Bears (Redditch), Jennifer Booton (Hereford) and Maxed Out (Evesham).

It's free to get in - and this is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.

None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded here - which led them to receiving airplay on BBC Hereford & Worcester.

Doors open at 6pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 9pm.

Meanwhile, if you're a venue or promoter, and would like to be featured in a future recording session please get in touch.
