On the Friday Session on 13 November there's live music from the Kidderminster electronica duo The Audacity .

We talk to Ash, who are visiting Worcester University next Thursday as part of their A-Z tour of Britain.

Plus Evesham musician Bruno Gallone presses 10,000 tracks for the launch of a 2010 football game.

We meet the Hereford man responsible for the signings of Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers, Lemar, Super Furry Animals, George Michael, The Zutons - and many more.

Sean Denny was an A&R scout with Sony Music, before taking over jobs at dance labels Illustrious, Epic, Champion, Gut and Gusto.

He's since become a national radio promotions manager helping bands to gain airplay and sessions - so if you're writing music in Herefordshire & Worcestershire - listen up!

They've had hit singles with 'Girl From Mars', 'Oh Yeah' and 'Angel Interceptor' and this week, the 90's band Ash are at Worcester University.

The band, whose career began in 1992, have gone on to take the singles charts by storm, landed the 'Best Contemporary Song' award at the Ivor Novello's, and named number two in the '50 Bands To See Before You Die' section of Q Magazine.

So now's your chance - as they're at the Dive Bar this Thursday night (19 November 2009) and frontman Tim Wheeler is on the show this week.

The Friday Session Introducing... The Audacity

The Audacity
The Audacity, rose from the ashes of Curb

The Kidderminster duo, who joined us live on the Friday Session Introducing stage at this year's Nozstock Festival, play their first ever studio session on this week's programme.

The electronica group, The Audacity, rose from the ashes of Curb - who used to specialise in a more indie-rock sound.

Ever since, James Hardman (vocals & computers) and Matt Stephens (Keyboards) have been producing Depeche Mode/New Order-type sounds.

New Album

We catch up with the Leominster and Kidderminster ex-pat Sam Payne, who's just released her new album.

Sam has a lot of stories to tell - as she arrived at her first paid gig the police were mopping up blood by the door because someone had been stabbed - and then during the gig a fight broke out and one of the speakers nearly landed on her.

Her life-inspired music has gone on to be featured on BBC Radio 2, Jazz FM, Atlantic 252 as well as various local and European radio stations
