Battle Well is at the top of Greenhill, roughly at the centre of the line help by the forces under Prince Edward. He went on to become later Edward I, known as Longshanks as he was so tall.
Some of the local road names still reflect the importance of the Battle of Evesham and its significance in the history of England.
There is now a battlefield trail crossing the battlefield. It starts near the top of Greenhill, on the other side of the road from Simon de Monfort drive.
