Berrington Hall - famous designs
Berrington Hall
The house and gardens are now run by the National Trust

This Georgian house, designed by Henry Holland, stands in landscaped grounds.

It is now maintained by the National Trust, with a famous walled garden, which contains a collection of old local apple trees.

The grounds are spectacular - and are the last to be designed by the legendary Capability Brown.

The house itself has some beautifully painted ceilings, French regency furniture and the costumes from the Wade Collection.

The house is well signposted, and is about three miles north of Leominster, on the A49.

There are some longer walks around the Berrington pool, which is a site of special scientific interest.
