Since forming in 2006 Jazica have been on a journey from an acoustic duo to an electro-pop four piece.
Keyboardist Frankie admits it has a bit of a seismic shift in sonic styles:
"I guess it was just my music tastes changed - I went travelling and listening to all kinds of chillout stuff.
"Then I got to uni and met people listening to different stuff. I thought, 'let's see where this goes'."
As a foursome, they have made it to the top ten in the national 'Road to V' competition and have also been nominated as best live act and best local band in the MintSouth awards.
Win or lose, drummer Kevin says he loves the festival season:
"Our music really suits being played outside. I really enjoy festivals but it is a bit of a struggle getting to and from the festivals. It is hard work - but I just love it, the atmosphere is just different."
They have recently worked their way round the BBC radio networks with airplay from Huw Stephens on Radio 1, Steve Lemaq on Radio 2 and Tom Robinson on BBC 6 music as well as the BBC Introducing South:Live session.
