The Great South Run 2009

A record entry of 21,000 people started the 2009 Great South Run in Portsmouth.

Celebrities, charity fundraisers and club runners ran alongside the elite athletes along the 10-mile route past many of the city's most historic landmarks. The elite men's race was won by Great Britain's Mo Farah.
