Jenny was an actress and magazine journalist before working in radio
Jenny Kendall-Tobias began broadcasting on 1 October 2001 and will be known to many as a past presenter of BBC Guernsey's mid-morning show.
In 2006 she left the station to have her son William who was born on Christmas Day.
Before working in radio Jenny wrote for newspapers and magazines all over Europe.
She also appeared on a lifestyle series for Channel Four cooking with chef James Martin for 14 weeks.
Jenny began her working life as an actress, making her West End debut on the stage of London's Savoy Theatre.
However, she also previously studied flute and singing at the London College of Music and she still works as a voice coach when she's not compèring some of the many local events she's asked to host.
In 2009, BBC Guernsey offered Jenny the chance to return to the airwaves with a brand new show in the afternoons - the first 'JKT Show' was aired on Monday 13th July 2009 and it has since become known as the 'talk of the islands'.
"I adore presenting this show," said Jenny. "It's a bit like a local version of 'Loose Women', but on radio."
She said: "Since its inception, we've welcomed more than 250 guests onto the airwaves. I'm so thrilled to be back on radio and people tell me they love their time on the show.
"To my mind, there's nothing quite like radio and it's such fun that it's hard to think of it as work. The biggest buzz comes from meeting so many interesting people."
