The core St Martin's team picked up their trophy at Beau Sejour
The 2010 Floral Guernsey competition saw three of the island's parishes come away with gold awards.
St Martin won the top prize with St Andrew and Herm also being awarded with gold and St Peter Port receiving a silver gilt prize.
Judge Dave Stuart said: "You've got to be stunned by the efforts... [St Martin] are a class act."
St Martin's co-ordinator John Nicolle said, "we're delighted", and would go on to enter Britain in Bloom 2011.
As well as maintaining floral features added to the parish in past years St Martin's team added new things for 2010.
These included a nature walk around Moulin Huet, which took three months work to complete.
John said: "It's tremendous what it's done to the parish, there's a tremendous amount of community feeling now... the parish pulled together."
Dave Stuart said: "St Martin's have a very large team of volunteers and they undertake a lot of projects and they somehow seemed to pull together."
Despite having won the top prize previously this was the first year the parish felt ready to enter Britain in Bloom on behalf of the Bailiwick, one of the parish's team members said they were already "looking forward to the challenge of next year".
