Sing Hallelujah is open to all, whether you have 'the X factor' or not!

Sing Hallelujah is a nationwide project encouraging people to find their voice and discover the joy of singing through Handel's famous Hallelujah Chorus. This year marks the 250th anniversary of George Frideric Handel's death and everyone is invited to learn the Hallelujah Chorus and perform it during November and December. If you are already an experienced singer or in a choir, then why not perform the Hallelujah Chorus and send us the details via
bbc.co.uk/sing
so we can encourage audiences to find you. Maybe you'd like to record your own performance and upload it to the website from November as part of one giant Hallelujah Chorus. Or finally, maybe you'd like to join our choir!
The BBC Radio Gloucestershire Choir
Vere Richards is in charge of recruitment and he'd love you to get involved, help swell numbers and swell the sound. When and where? 2.30pm on Sunday, 6 December, 2009 at Bethesda Methodist Church in Cheltenham.
Register your interest below to join the BBC Radio Gloucestershire choir.

Do I need a good voice? No, just a willingness to use it and sing! How many rehearsals do I need to attend? Just one, on the day itself, which will be followed by a five minute performance of the Hallelujah Chorus that will be recorded live for broadcast on BBC Radio Gloucestershire. I don't want to sing, but would love to hear Handel's Messiah? There are, so far, three other Sing Hallelujah events taking place around Gloucestershire offering the opportunity to hear The Messiah in its entirety or in excerpts: Handel's Messiah is being performed at Gloucester Cathedral on Saturday, 5 December, 2009 and also at St Matthews Church in Cheltenham on Saturday, 28 November, 2009. Also, the anniversary of Handel's death is being celebrated in concert on Saturday, 28 November, 2009 at St Mary's Church in Fairford. For more information, take a look at the Hallelujah map on the official
Sing Hallelujah
website.
