Do you fancy a walk with a bit of a difference, and a bit of a fright at the same time?

Enthusiastic paranormal investigator Lyn Cinderey has organised one of her regular Gloucester 'ghost walks' to raise money for charity.

The event on Saturday 12 December is a 'Help For Heroes Ghost Walk' and will help raise funds for "Our men and women who keep us safe."

Lyn, who set up Gloucester Ghost Walks and Tours with Paul Goddard, said: "I decided to do this walk as at this time of year I feel it is very much a family time, and I have been thinking a lot lately about our soldiers abroad not being with their loved ones.

"This is my small but sincere contribution of saying to all those very brave heroes, men and Women, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

"We do appreciate you, and my thoughts and prayers and love go out to each and everyone of you.

"I would love this to be the largest turnout of local people to do this walk. Afterwards I intend to go round a few pubs in the city centre with some friends and try and collect more money for the cause, making the most of the night."

The Ghost Walk starts at 7.30pm meeting outside The Tourist Information Centre on Southgate St. in Gloucester.

The walk is free, however people will be asked to make a donation. Tickets available in advance from the Tourist Information Centre.
