Father and son pilots from the west win flying awards

A father and son have cleaned up at an awards ceremony which challenges pilots to do as much flying as possible between dawn and dusk in one day.

The achievements of David Joyce, from Berkeley, Gloucestershire, and his son Patrick who lives in Wells, Somerset, are made even more remarkable by the fact that Patrick has motor neurone disease.

Their efforts have raised over £10,000 to help in the search to find a cure.

Gloucestershire's reporter for BBC Points West, Steve Knibbs has been to meet them.
