Revised plans for a new £30m motorway service station on the M5 in Gloucestershire have been submitted to Stroud District Council.
The proposals have been revised following opposition to original plans which were withdrawn in 2009.
A partnership between the Gloucestershire Gateway Trust and Westmorland Ltd says the new services will be eco-friendly and showcase the county.
But those opposed to the plans say it will spoil an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there is no demand for it.
