Now spring has sprung - finally - which means that creatures are coming out of their long winter sleep ready to breed.

But thanks to local conservationist Daphne Neville they're all making it safely to the lake where they breed.

BBC Points West's Gloucestershire reporter, Steve Knibbs, has been to Frampton Mansell near Stroud to meet her and the toads.
