Pendragon return to Stroud for Prog Rock gig

Pendragon picked up the award for best Classic Rock Society gig of 2009

After 25 years away Pendragon are about to triumphantly return to their hometown of Stroud for a special show.

Heralded as one of the great legendary bands from the Gloucestershire area, Pendragon shows "exude a cornucopia of pure energy and devastatingly beautiful melodies".

Now these local Prog Rock monsters have announced a gig at Stroud's Subscription Rooms, on Friday 7 May 2010.

It's part of a series of dates for the band this year which include festivals in Spain and America, and a tour of the UK and Europe.

Pendragon swept the board at the recent Classic Rock Society Awards. Honours included "Best Classic Rock Society gig of 2009", Best Drummer, Best Keys player and Best Guitarist.

Work is also is underway for the new album entitled Passion, which is scheduled for release in Spring 2011.
