Lady Ashcombe with 'Wellness Skull' by Atelier Van Lieshout at Sudeley Castle
A number of unique or limited-edition art pieces have been installed throughout the grounds of Sudeley Castle. The selling exhibition, hosted by Sotheby's, features 25 works of contemporary design, including some specially-commissioned pieces. Artists and designers who are selling their work include Marc Quinn, Pablo Reinoso, Marcel Wanders, Studio Job and Atelier Van Lieshout. "We are delighted to be working with Sotheby's on this very exciting new show of contemporary design, which will, without doubt, enhance our visitors' experience at Sudeley this summer," said Lady Ashcombe, who lives at Sudeley Castle. "A thousand years of history at Sudeley represents a thousand years of design and creation and it is wonderful to be presenting such a current and visually exciting exhibition that is in such striking contrast to the historic castle itself."
