BBC Essex presenters will sing for Pudsey as they stage 'Shame Academy' to raise money for Children in Need.

Last year the radio hosts raised hundreds of pounds with their version of the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing.'

This time their vocal talents will be stretched as the presenters go head-to-head in a singing contest.

Local schoolchildren will choose their favourites, with the finalists appearing at the Chelmsford Christmas lights switch-on in the town centre.

The Chelmsford Christmas event takes place on Sunday, 22 November from 11am until 5pm, with the finals of 'Shame Academy' between 4 and 5pm.
