Brentwood based band Twenty Twenty have described their rapid rise in the music industry as an 'unreal experience'.

The trio, made up of brothers Jack and Sam Halliday and Sonny Watson-Lang, only formed in late 2008, but are already part of the 02 Academy Tour.

"It is probably one of the most unreal experiences ever," said bassist Jack.

"We played our first ever show as a band in March this year and then in the space of six to eight months we were headlining the 02 Academy Tour."

The band have already played five gigs on the high-profile tour, selling out three of them.

"They were second rooms, but still there was about 300 kids at most of the gigs," said Jack.

"It was amazing, it was so good, we couldn't have enjoyed it more."

Their focus is now on promoting their latest single 'Story of our Lives' and their second O2 Academy Tour alongside Go:Audio in October.
