21 October 2009:

Right then...been back in the great isle of England for about six weeks now but it has been a bit less hectic than i thought it was going to be.

Unfortunately due to the economic crisis a lot of the competitions have had to be cancelled due to the lack of sponsorship about.

So whilst I have had this spare time that I hadn't accounted for, I've managed to sneak off to Portugal for five days with two friends from Croyde - Andrew Cotton and Alex Baker. I also met up with Irish pro surfer Glenn Hall.

We spotted a good forecast, dropped everything, and headed off there along with Ben Selway from Wavelength, who shot the feature for the magazine.

Since then I have been intending to do as many trips like that as possible - where you see the forecast and go, but it hasn't been that great up until last week. England was actually good.

I had a few new and interesting boards to try out and put a little video together of me and a friend surfing my new twin fin board which is the first I've tried like it.

Thanks to Rob Vaughn it's another epic board and hopefully it will be my new small wave weapon in the comps.

Watch Lyndon in recent action, with the video he has sent in. The music is by his pals in Laura Lost.
