Devon Open Studio 2010 takes place in the county from September 4-19 - with some 260 artists taking part. Victoria Goodman's oil paintings are inspired by nature and the surrounding landscape of Branscombe.
The majority of the work is on show in artists' homes or studios. This piece is by Anne Radu from Cockwood, near Starcross. Her work includes contemporary paintings in a range of styles as well as sculptural pieces made from recycled materials.
Marion Kemp Pack creates semi-abstract gouache paintings and small watercolours, mostly landscape, from her home at Copplestone near Crediton.
Stephie Reiss is one of a number of artists whose work will be on show at the Greenaway Barn Gallery. Ceramics, painting, wood furniture, mixed media and drawing are all on show at the gallery at Gidleigh, Chagford.
Heather Jansch creates her lifesize driftwood and bronze sculptures at her studio at Olchard, near Newton Abbot.
Jane Simants' work - using conté and oils - is mostly figurative. she also creates medical artwork and illuminated lettering. She works from Upacott near Moretonhampstead.
Janet Wingate's work will be on show at the Old Assembly Rooms in Slapton. She and fellow artist Sue Robson are both members of the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and are showing new work, silver jewellery, glass, stitching, fabric and felt.
This piece by Jane Burt is called Low Tide on Teign. "I'm interested in working with 'found' materials, painting and printmaking. My subjects vary from human to land and seascapes," said the Teigmouth-based artist.
Lydia Corbett's work includes new oils inspired by early meetings she had with Picasso. She is based at the Ark Studio near Rattery.
Mark Rochester creates local landscape and floral paintings from his home in Ilfracombe."I will be working in the studio on my printed textile collection," he said.
Work by eight artists and makers will be on show at High Beara Artists in Buckfastleigh. Peter Edwards' paintings are among the work being exhibited.
