Simon Callow talks about his Shakespeare role

Simon Callow talks exclusively to BBC Spotlight about his new play on the life of Shakespeare, being premiered in Plymouth.

The actor appears in Shakespeare: The Man from Stratford at the Theatre Royal Plymouth from 10-12 June 2010.

In the play, written by Jonathan Bate, Callow brings to life Shakespeare and his characters.

After Plymouth, the play goes on tour to Liverpool, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Sheffield, Windsor, Brighton, Malvern, Taunton, Richmond and Edinburgh.

In the film, Simon Callow talks to Spotlight's Justin Leigh and Victoria Graham.
