Audio slideshow: Tarka Symphony

Take in the sights of Tarka Country and the sounds of the Tarka Symphony, co-penned by Harry Williamson, son of Tarka author Henry Williamson.

Henry Williamson wrote Tarka the Otter in 1937, and the book is based on the waterways of North Devon.

His son Harry co-wrote the Tarka Symphony in the 1970s but it is set to be performed live for the very first time in 2010.

The music here is a section of the Oboe Movement.
