The series will ask a different question each month
The Big Question is a new series on the BBC in the North East and Cumbria, examining big issues that affect life in our region - and we need your help. The series runs until March 2010 and will ask a new question each month. First in the spotlight is employment. There are more than 124,000 people out of work in the region and many people are asking: "Why can't I get a job?" We'll be trying to answer that question from 19 October and you can join the debate. E-mail: cumbria@bbc.co.uk There will be a whole week of coverage on Look North, BBC Radio Cumbria and online on BBC Cumbria.
