Latest incidents on the roads

A597 Cumbria - New Bridge Road (Northside Bridge) closed both ways due to emergency repairs between William Street and A596 Northside Road , in Workington. Diversion in operation - via the A66 to Cockermouth, A595 Papcastle Bridge, A594 to Maryport, A596 and vice versa. Be aware this diversion is at least 18 miles long.
