Sweet Flava, runners up Vintage Punk, up and coming hip hop crew Tricky and a live show from a new all girl group will also feature in the local extravaganza at the Hall for Cornwall on Monday 2 November. Since reaching the semi finals of the popular television competition, Flava have been busy performing all over, including working closely with Cornish schools. Flava have also performed in a packed BBC Cornwall marquee at the Royal Cornwall Show for two years running. Founder member Kyle says: "We want kids to look to us as positive role models. We are looking to tour schools in the UK not just to promote Flava, but to show the kids that if they put their mind to something they can achieve so much. "We work hard, but it's a lot of fun and we really enjoy what we do. Hopefully we'll inspire other kids to want to do the same." In August children from Cornwall who have been working with the Police to look after and tidy up their community were rewarded with a dance workshop with Flava.
