Flava will be performing at the Hall for Cornwall in November

Millions tuned in to Britain's Got Talent in 2008 to see Cornwall dance group Flava wow the three television judges.

The group is part of the Fiona Richardson Dance Company which is busy preparing its latest stage show which comes to the HfC in November 2009.

Nightmares and Dreams will also feature the dancing talents of young hip hop champions Sweet Flava.

Tickets are priced at £12 and £10. The show starts at 7pm.

Best known for reaching the semi finals of the hit ITV show Britain's Got Talent, this Halloween themed showcase from Flava is supported by many other Cornish dancers taught by Fiona Richardson.

After seeing Flava perform Simon Cowell said: "The raw talent and the choreography are as good as anything I've seen in America. They are one of the best dance acts I?ve seen in this country. They are terrific."

Sweet Flava, runners up Vintage Punk, up and coming hip hop crew Tricky and a live show from a new all girl group will also feature in the local extravaganza at the Hall for Cornwall on Monday 2 November.

Since reaching the semi finals of the popular television competition, Flava have been busy performing all over, including working closely with Cornish schools.

Flava have also performed in a packed BBC Cornwall marquee at the Royal Cornwall Show for two years running.

Founder member Kyle says: "We want kids to look to us as positive role models. We are looking to tour schools in the UK not just to promote Flava, but to show the kids that if they put their mind to something they can achieve so much.

"We work hard, but it's a lot of fun and we really enjoy what we do. Hopefully we'll inspire other kids to want to do the same."

In August children from Cornwall who have been working with the Police to look after and tidy up their community were rewarded with a dance workshop with Flava.
