Christmas Carols at the Cathedral

Truro Cathedral
The congregation enjoying the 2008 Christmas Celebration

Each year hundreds of people fill Truro Cathedral to enjoy BBC Radio Cornwall's Christmas Celebration.

The evening is recorded and broadcast in two parts on Christmas Day and Boxing Day on BBC Radio Cornwall.

Tickets are free and can be obtained by writing to:

Christmas Celebration, BBC Cornwall, Phoenix Wharf, Truro, TR1 1UA.

You can request up to four tickets. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

This year the Celebration will include the award-winning Camborne Youth Band, the Laudate Chamber Choir and organist and pianist Jonathan Delbridge.

Staff from BBC Radio Cornwall will also be taking part.

We'll be singing lots of carols and we also want you to join us in the Hallelujah Chorus - and Trelawny.

It all takes place in the evening of Thursday 3 December 2009.
