Thirteen Senses release their 3rd album Crystal Sounds

The band have announced that their third album, 'Crystal Sounds' is available to stream online for a limited time

Following a three year public hiatus, Thirteen Senses return with a new album entitled 'Crystal Sounds'.

Recorded and produced by the band in their own studio, the third album retains their previous air of drama and expansive sound.

The decision to self produce has led to a new confidence creating a true body of work rather than a collection of songs.

Originally from Cornwall the band have since made their home in London.

The band originated in 2001 in the sleepy coastal town of Penzance. Led by songwriter Will South, the band consist of Tom Welham, Adam Wilson and Brendon James.

After two intense years of playing live, honing their songcraft and demoing their songs, they signed to Vertigo records.

It didn't take long for these humble country boys to start making a name for themselves in the big bad world of music.

The group released the album The Invitation on 27 September 2004, along with several singles: "Thru the Glass", "Do No Wrong", "Into the Fire" and "The Salt Wound Routine", of which the first three have reached the UK Top 40.

Thirteen Senses are the only Cornish band to have a Top 20 single with "Thru The Glass" reaching No.18 in the UK singles chart.

This success led to 12 months of touring both at home and abroad, finally culminating in a gold record on their walls for their debut album 'The Invitation'.

The band have recorded and produced their new album in their own studio

By the time their year on the road wound to an end with a headline show at the London Astoria in May 2005, it had become a hometown gig. Thirteen Senses were now a London band, and were determined to make their second album reflect that.

Their second album, Contact, was released in April 2007. If 'The Invitation' felt like a sleepy stretch, then 'Contact' feels like a reach for the stratosphere - a vibrant, scintillating, huge album that fulfils every ounce of their initial promise and exposes whole new realms of broiling pop thunder.

"This album's been a long time coming. Writing it was a fantastic experience, as we were able to explore so many different influences, more so than on our previous records.

"We pretty much locked ourselves away and wrote, recorded and produced the whole thing ourselves. Now it's finally finished, we can't wait for our fans and new listeners to hear it, and hopefully fall in love with it."

The band have announced that their third album, "Crystal Sounds" is available to stream "for a limited time", and have yet to provide any details of a physical release.
