Pudsey is off on tour around Cornwall, look out for him

Pudsey Bear is the friendly face featured on all our BBC Children in Need programmes and merchandise.

The yellow bear has been a part of the BBC's charity for 24 years, since making his first public appearance in 1985.

Now Pudsey, who sports a spotty bandana is heading off on tour in Cornwall on Thursday 12 November 2009 and he wants to meet you!

Pudsey will be visiting the three Asda superstores on the Thursday.

It Asda be Pudsey!

Over the years Asda nationally has raised more than £8.4m for the BBC's Children in Need appeal, so Pudsey wanted to go along and say thank you! In past years Pudsey has been to Boots and Lakeland which also sells the charity's merchandise, as well as countless schools and other organisations.

It will be a busy tour for our cuddly bear on Thursday 12 November. He starts his day, after a hearty breakfast of course, at Asda's Bodmin superstore. Pudsey will be walking around the store from 10.30am.

After greeting toddlers and their parents, the big bear will head to Asda's Penryn store. He will be causing his usual havoc from 12.30pm.

Pudsey's final trip of the day will be to St Austell's Asda. Why not head there after school to meet our friendly bear. Pudsey will be walking around the store from 3pm.

Our Puds will also be putting on his best Simon Cowell head to be a judge at St Austell College's big talent show which takes place on Thursday 19 November.

On the big day, Friday 20 November 2009, Pudsey will be at the Eden Project where hundreds of children will be taking part in a massive massage circle in one of the biomes - all in aid of BBC Children in Need.

Then it's off for a quick snooze and pot of honey, before Pudsey heads off to TV land for the big BBC Children in Need extravaganza. He's a busy bear eh!
