Antonia Brickell
After a jet-setting lifestyle, Antonia finally feels at home in Cambridgeshire

Once a drama queen always a drama queen! After a childhood of producing her own plays, making her own radio shows and acquiring the nickname of Sarah Bernhardt by the time she was eight years old, it was only a matter of time before Antonia would move into the world of broadcasting.

With many a story to tell, she started her radio career in commercial radio in Cambridge after cheekily cold-calling the local station and asking: "Can you give me the name of the person I'll be working for?" One phone conversation later and the rest is history.

Antonia has worked as a 'stunt reporter', news and lifestyle reporter, she's worked on radio abroad and on TV too - but her real passion is radio (and always has been).

As well as being a voice-over artist, she's presented radio shows around the clock and all over the country - including late night shows in London, mid-mornings, lunchtimes and breakfast shows in Northampton and Sheffield - and now she's back living and working in the only county that has ever truly felt like home.

Sitting and doing nothing doesn't come naturally to her. Away from the microphone, exercise is one of her essential escape routes (be it kickboxing or circuits).

Enjoying good food and wine with those close is a must, as is re-charging the old sense of humour!
