Oakington Plane
It has been 100 years since a pair of Oakington villagers failed to create a fantastic flying machine - now their legacy is being continued.

A Cambridge University campaign to save the papers of World War I poet Siegfried Sassoon is bolstered by a £550,000 grant.

The first distress call from sea was made 100 years ago by one of Peterborough's very own sons.
