Shoe donations help city hostel

Dean Crescent emergency access hostel in Bedminster has welcomed a donation of 20 pairs of new and boxed shoes.

The hostel offers a safe base for women aged 16 and above who may be in fear of violence and abuse at home, sleeping rough or experiencing harassment.

The event, organised by CSV at BBC Bristol, brought a smile to the faces of residents who were delighted with the donations.
