The Thursday and Saturday night glows are real crowd-pleasers at the annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
But how do the balloon pilots manage to co-ordinate their burners in time to the music?
In this video you can see highlights of the Thursday glow accompanied by the radio instructions the pilots receive.
The glow director uses commands like "burn", "flicker" and "stop" to achieve the dramatic night-time spectacle.
