The Balloon Fiesta has officially been launched with an early-morning flight from College Green in Bristol.
Several balloons took off from the city centre location to mark the beginning of the event which takes place at Ashton Court.
The annual event takes place from Thursday, 12 until Sunday, 15 August 2010.
