BBC Bristol Morning Glory presenter

When's the last time you heard a new song or a new band and thought "I have to tell everyone about this"? Morning Glory is my hour-long window of exactly that: the best new music and up-and-coming bands around plus live sessions and unbroadcastable secrets. Drive presenter Ben Prater has called it a "top listen", Graham Torrington simply said "I enjoyed that", and BBC Radio Bristol manager Tim Pemberton says it's the best he could do with a limited budget. The team in the BBC newsroom are heavily involved in Morning Glory, and every week one of the station's journalists declares "Come on Andy, it's a decent pop song". They then have the somewhat debatable honour of defending their choice. This is new venture for the show, and one that has come in for much criticism from members of staff. Oh well. I have had three pictures taken of me recently, in controlled conditions; all of which are on this page. Which was my favourite? It was a toss up between the confused photo, the happy one or the taking life extremely seriously one. I'd be interested to know what you think, but will not accept major abuse. Just out of interest, Lisa from the BBC web team would choose the happy one. If you have found a piece of music or a band that you would like to share with the entire world
send it all on an e-mail
