Brian Trubshaw and former MP Tony Benn

Concorde's famous test pilot was the late Brian Trubshaw who put the jet through its paces at Filton and RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

Following a test flight to Fairford, Mr Trubshaw tells how the jet had to manoeuvre away from a light aircraft.

He also tells of his relationship with the French test pilot in Toulouse.

"Collectively we know a lot more about Concorde than prior to the first flight of 001 [the French prototype]," he told a gathering in Gloucestershire.
