An exhibition by the Somerset-based war photographer Don McCullin has opened in Bath.

Shaped By War - which is timed to coincide with Mr McCullin's 75th birthday - features more than 100 photographs depicting conflict and its consequences.

Don, who is recovering from heart surgery, invited his friend and fellow veteran of covering conflict, Kate Adie to open the exhibition.

She told BBC Points West reporter Ali Vowles about the impact of his work.

The free exhibition will run until 21 November at the Victoria Art Gallery, Bath.
