A series of life-sized lion sculptures has been unveiled in Bath ahead of a big project in 2010 which will see the animals placed around the city.
The giant pride, which was unveiled on Wednesday, will take up residence in and around the city from May to October.
The project will raise funds for local charities while helping to bring a smile to residents and visitors.
A similar project in 2008, which saw King Bladud pigs placed around the city, saw artists decorate the sculptures.
Organisers hope that the same will happen to the lions in 2010 and they will be more colourful that the white and gold ones which were shown off on Wednesday.
At the end of summer 2010, all the lions will be auctioned off for charity.
