Recycled CD horse goes on display

A 10ft horse made out of thousands of CDs is the latest exhibit at a recycled sculpture show.

It took Dean Williams about a month to complete the structure which is made from reclaimed steel poles and more than 3000 CDs.

The work, entitled High Density, will be on show until September 2009 at Horseworld's visitor centre in Whitchurch.

Dean said he was delighted his sculpture would be part of the Horse Power exhibition at the charity which rescues and re-homes horses and ponies.

"I am so pleased that my horse will be cared for at Horseworld," he said.

"I know that he will be in good hands - especially if he slips a disc."
