Banksy's new show at Bristol Museum has been the subject of huge amounts of attention - but it isn't the first time he has appeared there.

The Bristol Graffiti blog has revealed that the famous street artist featured there at the start of the decade - on some chipboard.

The wood was tagged by Banksy while it was protecting a statue of Queen Victoria on College Green.

It was later moved to Bristol Museum where his exhibition is being held.

The Bristol Graffiti blogger said: "Sometime whilst it was up [in the centre], Banksy came along and sprayed a couple of tags on it, with small pieces at the end of them, a combination that doesn't seem to have been done anywhere else oddly.

"Once the boards had come down, they ended up up the hill, covering some work being done between the Museum and the Wills Building, the Banksy bits being rearranged a bit oddly as a result."
