Bristol celebrates its reputation as a world centre for street art culture
Students at the University of the West of England painted on the walls to celebrate Bristol's reputation as a world centre for street art culture.
Graffiti artist Inkie was just one of the people on hand to give the students a few tips.
Organiser Rachel Shircore said that graffiti's collaborative nature is what makes it so interesting.
"Throughout time that stagnant bit of art grows into something greater," she told the BBC.
"The great thing about graffiti is it gets overlapped, people add on to pictures, other artists come along and see somebody has drawn a person and they might add on other elements to that image.
"I know people don't even consider graffiti as art because they look at tagging to be the same as graffiti - it's not."
Graffiti artist Inkie said: "All my friends that have done graffiti have now got careers doing graphics or art so it's a good way into the graphics industry."
