Symphony raises money for charity
A Symphony for Yorkshire

The DVD is now available to buy

A Symphony for Yorkshire was a new and unique piece of music, commissioned by the BBC.

It was composed by Benjamin Till with lyrics written by Doreen Brigham, a 98-year-old great-grandmother from Harrogate.

Amateur and professional musicians from across Yorkshire were invited to audition and were then filmed at various locations across the region.

The completed Symphony was broadcast on Yorkshire Day, the first of August.

Now the film of A Symphony for Yorkshire is being released on DVD to help raise funds for the BBC's Children in Need appeal.

The DVD will be available at a cost of £10.00 which includes postage & packing.
