Looking for your nearest bonfire and firework extravaganza for the weekend?

Here are just a few of the firework displays taking place in Bradford, Wakefield, Kirklees and Calderdale.

Friday 6 November

In Bradford...

Grattan Stadium at Odsal, home of the Bradford Bulls, will be host to a Monster Stunt and Firework Spectacular.

The one night stunt extravaganza features the world's most powerful monster truck, 'Bigfoot'.

UK FMX Freestyle team, 'the masters of motocross freestyle' will be flying through the air on their machines puling off the ultimate tricks from a kamikaze to a tail whip.

Skard4life street bike freestyle team will also be performing and Eddie Kidd the legendary bike rider, film star and stuntman will be making a guest appearance.

The night will culminate with an awe-inspiring fireworks display making sure the night finishes with a bang!

Saturday 7 November

In Bingley

Myrtle Park in Bingley is the site for 2009's big display, organised by Baildon Round Table. The fire is lit at 7pm and the fireworks start at 730pm

£5 per person, under 12s are free. Tickets are only available on the gates which are open from 6pm.

Proceeds from the bonfire will go to local charities and good causes.

In Wakefield

Wakefield's big display is at Thornes Park, with the bonfire being lit at 7pm and the fireworks starting at 8pm.

There is also a competition for the best Guy Fawkes with prizes for the best entries. There will also be fire eaters, jugglers and live entertainment.

Food will also be available throughout the night including jacket potatoes, pie and peas, doughnuts, sweets, coffee, chestnuts and ice-cream.

There are limited car parking spaces within the park.

In Hebden Bridge

Hebden Bridge bonfire at Calder Holmes Park is said to be one of the North of England's premier bonfire events. Attracting visitors from all over Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester, this is a family event which has been thrilling crowds for over 50 years.

Organised by Hebden Bridge Round Table, there are attractions for the whole family including children's fairground rides, the children's firework display, a spectacular bonfire and the main event - the fireworks!

A wide variety of caterers offer food from around the globe from Mongolian stir fry to German frankfurters, from American burgers to a traditional hog roast.

Gates open 4pm, the bonfire is lit at 630pm, children's fireworks are at 7pm and the main fireworks display is at 8pm.

Adults - £4, children (under 14) - £2, under two-years-old - free.

In Holmfirth

In Holmfirth, a fantastic fireworks show will light up the sky.

The Rotary Club of Holmfirth has organised the annual display and they promise a spectacular explosion of colour and music on the night.

A funfair is also planned.

The event takes place opposite the Sands House Inn on Crosland Moor. Tickets cost £3 for adults, £1 for children - but it's free for those in prams.
